Abstract

Il contributo analizza il rapporto tra Radical Design fiorentino e AI Urbanism attraverso un approccio qualitativo, storico-critico e comparativo. L'obiettivo è verificare se alcune categorie teoriche oggi associate all'intelligenza artificiale applicata alla progettazione urbana trovino anticipazioni nella ricerca radicale degli anni Sessanta e Settanta. L'analisi evidenzia continuità nella concezione della città come processo, nella ridefinizione del ruolo dell'architetto e nel rapporto tra calcolo e progetto, proponendo una lettura genealogica dell'AI Urbanism come evoluzione di una più ampia trasformazione della cultura progettuale.
