Abstract

There is a territory, in the province of Pisa, which specifically includes the city of Pontedera, some areas of Valdera and an entire town, Lajatico, where, with the intention of preserving the original properties of a space, an operation of 'poetic planning' of the territory has been carried out, which we could define, in the words of Christian Norberg-Schulz, as the act of 'gathering the properties of the place and bringing it close to man'.
