Franco Albini

Architect at the roots of the Modern

  • Eugenio Guglielmi University of Bergamo

Abstract

Franco Albini could only have been born in Brianza. In the land of Robbiate, Leonardo's dreams still mingle with the Adda river, which flows deep between the ancient stump quarries. Where nature preserves history, that nature is the forerunner of progress in the grand gorge that from the Edison canal will allow the water to almost miraculously give light to the darkness of night.
